I am pleased with the customer service, however felt very uneasy when your technician sent the nice young lady to me to “suggest” that I needed additional services. I am an older ladies and rely on the trust I have placed in your dealership because I am not a mechanic. I need my car to run and last as long as it can and so place my trust in you. But when that nice young lady came back to me and said I needed new windshield wipers I was floored! I had just had them replaced two weeks ago! So when she said the filters needed replaced I asked to see them! One was not so bad it could not wait for the next oil change but the other, while appearing clean to me was bent and crushed. I cannot say that was not the way they found it nor that it was damaged removing it, so OK, bought the new filter. Buyer beware.

This warranted service was provided on a new 2025 Silverado High Country that came from the factory with a defective power control for the radio. Service dept communicated the steps needed to repair the unit. From an engineering/customer perspective, service tech had to remove the entire dash to diagnose the issue, find the correct part number and effect repair. My recommendation would be for the servicing dealership to have the capacity to call and obtain the part number from the build sheet for the vehicle vs having to remove the dash. I would also suspect that since the info center is the center piece of the dash, having it designed to be removed without having to remove the dash would be cheaper, easier and less time consuming for both the service dept and the customer. I would also suspect that quality control failed to identify this defect at time of final inspection prior to shipping to dealership.

Took my vehicle in for some engine problems. Amanda at the service desk was very informative and knowledgeable about the issues and got me scheduled in. She gave me my worst case scenario just in case. The next morning I stopped by and they had my vehicle in for inspection process already. Spoke with the service manager (Cody). He explained they didn’t have the problems all figured out. So my wife went out and Browsed the lot at new vehicles. On Saturday a salesman named Tommy came out and spoke with us. Explained to him what was going on. He was very nice and was not a normal “pushy” salesman. We exchanged numbers and he said he would keep in touch. Around 3:30 pm Tommy texted and said they didn’t finish with the complete inspection process and would get back to me on Monday. Approximately 6:45 pm on Saturday I received a call from Cody the service manager, he had bad news for me and he explained everything. I was completely shocked to receive a call this late on a Saturday evening this late. I was very grateful for there effort to get me the answers I needed this fast. I was here on vacation and needed to head back home by next Friday. Thad news left my wife and I in a bad situation. So on Monday we went up and spoke with all of them and the manager of the dealership. (Chad I believe). Between all of them they ended up making the situation the best it could possibly be! They were very understandable and compassionate on helping us with our situation. I was very nervous on buying a vehicle from out of state let alone from a dealership I had never been to. We ended up buying a new vehicle from them and they all made it right and treated us like family! We are very happy with all the results. Courtney with the finance lady made sure everything was completed from the state we live in so no hidden issues when we get home to title and plate the vehicle! GILBERT CHEVROLET is an awesome place and would recommend purchasing,or having service work completed here! If I have to purchase another vehicle this Dealership will get my business. The experience was good but the concern of diesel exhaust smell in cab during regeneration was not solved. The invoice states that smell during regeneration. Very specific. Tech took it for 5 mile test drive but couldn't duplicate problem. No kidding. I was very detailed when it was a problem and it was totally missed. . Maurice was helpful but I shouldn't have to pay twice for the same issue. Gilbert dropped the ball on this one.

The job is still not done, total confusion

You really need a drive in lane for oil changes. Had to wait several days for an appt time to open up and when arriving and waiting in car as per instructions, no one approached so got out and found someone. There were very few people there. I purchased 2 cars there and don't understand why I can't get in any sooner so would like to just drive in and wait since I have to wait anyways.

Top notch service from the collision center and service center. Only place my vehicles go.

My advisor, Tom was great and so was the tech that took care of my truck. My only "complaint" was it took 4 hours, and I get testing takes time, and the mens room needed pressure washed at the least. These are NOT deal breakers and I will be back, but please have the janitorial staff pay some attention to the bathrooms.

Was met by a service writer when I pulled up, told him I had an appointment for a oil change and tire rotation, he said it would take an hour, which it did, as soon as the truck was ready they came and got from the waiting room. After testing my battery it was determined it needed replacing and it was still under warranty

Drive from WPB to Okeechobee to get car serviced (my husband thought y'all are better than dealerships in WPB). Sensors for Airbag needs service appeared, while trying to find an explanation or solution online, I noticed there is a recall on my vehicle for airbags. I thought, maybe that is the problem. Took it to your shop, explained the recall and sensor problem. We were sent home because the part was not in stock. A couple weeks later, part is in and we go back to Okeechobee to get it fixed. Message came stating it was done, went back to shop - no mention of any problems or other things that may be wrong. Turn on car, airbag needs servicing message comes up again - when asked the guy said, I changed the recall part. When asked about looking at the problem with the airbag sensor, he said he didn't look at it and we would have to bring it back the next time to have it diagnosed! Two trips 64 miles each way (total of 256 miles) only to find out that they did not do there job - nor take initiative and say, I will take a look at it now. Just told, tough luck come back. Well, never again.

We visited this highly prestge dealer last week. Their service and expertise is outstanding: my husband bought a car that same day and they worked a price that he got all he wanted!

On first attempt service personnel could not find any error codes related to the problem. Consequently no work was done but issue remained. Very frustrating. Error codes are mere data pointing to solutions, not definitive answers. A day later Dustin called because of the evaluation. He looked into and found an outstanding issue with Hotspot updates and did a direct firmware reinstall. Seems to have worked. Really appreciate Dustin digging into this, going beyond error code absolutes, to find a solution. Awesome job sir.

Oil change in and out in an hour.

our vehicle took longer than it should’ve to fix, the service advisor (Dennis) was almost impossible to get ahold of & we were given a timeframe that came and passed, still had my vehicle for a week after intended date.

Chad and Albert were very good finding us a pickup truck that satisfied our needs. They helped us get out of a truck that we didn't want anymore. Albert even stayed after hours to make sure everything was done for us. Felicia was great helping out and getting our paperwork in order.

Issues persist but since they found no error codes there was no resolution. With one issue, in vehicle hotspot, even On-Star said see a service center. Said they found no codes so not even a good attempt at resolving. Hotspot remains nearly non-functional. Instead of solving the two issues they found over $4000 in other repairs. Hummmm

Since this is the 2nd time I’m filling this out- Dennis was a jerk when I didn’t just agree to the charges he wanted me to accept. I was under the impression my car was still under the 36000 warranty but it expired in March. Didn’t fix my car just wanted to charge more for me diagnostics. I took my car somewhere else because the check engine light was still on and still had problems after he said he found no issue just updated and recalibrated the engine. My car is now with another repair shop and I will never use Gilbert chev for a thing. The bad thing is the same day I took my car to the shop I bought a brand new expedition at Gilbert ford. Don’t call me or contact me again. I found someone that was willing and able to fix my issues with my car.

The Gilbert team made the process with my insurance claim easy. They provided me with a rental and kept me to to date on the repair status.

I appreciate the effort Albert and Chad put into helping me buy my new 2026 Silverado 2500 after my 2024 was totaled. I’m not an easy customer, no matter what, I always think I should pay less and get more for my trade in, but doesn’t everyone? I checked on the internet all over the state for the truck I wanted and even though it wasn’t an exact match I usually find dealing with hometown businesses is worth the compromise. They gave me a price I couldn’t turn down and I appreciate the effort they put into it. I wish Gilbert would order more trucks with the gooseneck hitch already installed. I live 2 hours away from Gilbert but made the drive which in total was 8 hours thinking that because I bought the vehicle at Gilbert I would be taken care of as a loyal customer. I was not and I will not go back or have anyone I know go there.

Slow but good!

Well the steering wheel lock issue seemed to be handled well. The radio issue is still an issue. They said they said they couldn't replicate the skip so there was nothing done. After I came to retrieve my keys I took the service guy out to the truck turned it on turned on the radio and within 2 minutes the radio skipped it skipped 2 more times within the 5 minutes we sat there. He said he would report it to him manager. While driving it from the dealership it skipped 5 times before I reached the Windixie plaza. Waiting to hear something I guess.

Tire Issue, new tire mounted and spare rehung under truck. Was a bad tire with less than 5000 miles but not under new tire warranty for some reason, did get a break on price for new tire.

I was in and out in less than an hour for a routine vehicle service. Everyone was friendly and kept me updated the whole time. The waiting area was comfortable and was able to sit and relax while waiting.

I was told that I would be informed on whether or not my warranty would cover the $200 hourly diagnostic fee and I was not. When my car was ready, I was told I would only be charged for 1 hour. I had to pay $200 and I’m not happy about it. They didn’t really inform me on anything about what was going on with my car. Just told they greased some pins and made sure everything was connected properly. They also didn’t give me a separate quote for some other things I asked about. I also had some additional trouble a few days after wards.

Everything was going fine. They found more damage than was expected. They did repairs amazingly but when told a timeframe that my car was going into paint on a Wednesday, it was not in paint Wednesday. They said it’ll be in paint Thursday. It was not in paint Thursday so it’ll be in paint. Friday was not in paint Friday said it’ll be in paint Monday Monday evening. It finally went to paint. I don’t like being lied to if you’re saying it’s going to paint to make sure it’s going to paint.

Cody and Maurice went above and beyond to assist me with my service on a 2023 Chevy 2500HD. Thank you again guys and I will definitely be back for the next service.

The sales lady did not apply any pressure on me to purchase the automobile. She showed me how everything works and told me that she would be available to help me if I had any questions just to stop at Gilbert Chevrolet. I have stopped twice since the purchase, and she answered the questions I had. That's what I call service after the sell.

Service is really bad. I guess there is some disadvantage to you doing warranty work. I have a 100k mile 10 year warranty on a 2021 Tahoe and the service rep simply won’t call and verify the warranty. He said he would after they diagnosed the problem and then again when I recently had the Silverado in for service. I’ve even had service at Gilbert’s under the same warranty before. I’m at a loss to understand this level of service when I have always had all service completed there on multiple vehicles. The place just isn’t the same since Jim Kimbeck left. On the Silverado, which I purchased there and have always taken there for service, I got an estimate on some repairs and the quote was ridiculously high. I went somewhere else, got AC parts for around $600, and the total job was half the price. That’s even including the ridiculous $400 fee I paid for you to look at it and diagnose the problem.

The sales staff was friendly and informative. The entire buying process was smooth and handled quickly. The staff makes you feel like family.

Dennis was in charge and took information about what was needed in servicing my car. He arranged for driver to take me home. He kept in touch with me by e-mail keeping me informed of service needs and what was being done.

When I arrived, Maurice greeted me and explained the service process for my vehicle. My vehicle was taken into service at my appointment time and returned to me within the time they had allotted for the service. I was very pleased with the service department and the timely manner in which they performed the required service.
