Long ago, a snowstorm blew across the plains and left behind one legendary figure — part cowboy, part yeti, all heart. From the frosty peaks, he wandered down to the warm, sunny streets of Okeechobee. Instead of melting away, he found a home at Gilbert’s, where big smiles and friendly faces never go out of season.

Now he’s known as Chilly G — Gilbert’s abominable snow cowboy and the only cowboy who can lasso a snowflake and ride a glacier into town. He came to Okeechobee and never left, and you may spot him at Gilbert’s events and around the community.
