What Does Check-In Time Mean?
After establishing your check-in time with our Customer Care Center, here are some things you can expect.
- First, you want to be here as close to your check-in time as you can. Getting here early means you will have to wait and arriving late could result in losing your place in line. Once you do arrive, our GM Certified Service Advisor will be ready for you with all of the information that was provided to our Customer Care Representative. During this first part of the check-in process, we will go over this information to ensure it is correct, to make sure we understand what your concerns are, and to see if anything needs to be added to your list.
- The second step in the check-in process is when you and your GM Certified Service Advisor will walk around your vehicle to collect numbers off of your vehicle and do a quick visual inspection.
- The third part of the check-in process is when it will be determined which department and which GM Certified Service Advisor will be the one best suited to diagnose and repair your vehicle. That decision will be based on what you and your GM Certified Service Advisor discussed and saw during the earlier part of the check-in process. Once that is determined, we will then look at the schedule of that department and GM Certified Service Technician, and that will determine approximately when your vehicle will enter our state-of-the-art shop.
