The Chevy Silverado 2500 HD for 2024 offers a Duramax® diesel engine that generates more power and torque along with a new torque management system that deploys more low-end force in first gear. The 2500 HD offers outstanding towing and payload capability with the help of its powerful engine and sophisticated driver assistance technology. Bed sizes and cab choices

The standard bed in the new 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD measures 82.3 inches long, 71.4 inches in width and is 21 inches tall, giving you a total cargo volume of 69.5 cubic feet. The long bed is 98.3 inches in length with the same width and height. Maximum cargo volume for the larger bed is 83.5 cubic feet. The Regular Cab can seat three people while the Double Cab has enough seating for six. The Crew Cab gives Fort Pierce truck drivers the most interior space of any 2500 HD cab configuration with 43.4 inches of legroom along with 40.1 inches of headroom in the rear seat.

The 2024 Silverado 1500 pickup

The Chevy Silverado 1500 half-ton pickup offers a new Duramax® 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine that gives you 305 horsepower which is 10% more than before along with 495 pound-feet of torque which is an increase of 8% over last year's model. Other engines include a 2.7-liter turbocharged power plant, a 5.3-liter V8 and a big 6.2-liter V8 which is good for 420 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. The maximum towing capacity in the 2024 Chevy Silverado is 13,300 pounds and the maximum payload is 2,260 pounds.

The 2024 Silverado 2500 HD truck

The Chevy Silverado 2500 HD truck offers you a choice of two new heavy-duty engines, just like the 3500 HD. One option is a Duramax® 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8 with 470 horsepower and a hefty 975 pound-feet of torque. The other choice is a 6.6-liter V8 with 401 horsepower plus 464 pound-feet of torque. When it's equipped with a fifth wheel and dual rear wheels, the 2024 Silverado 2500 HD diesel truck gives you a towing capacity of up to 22,500 pounds and a maximum payload of 3,850 lbs.

The 2024 Silverado 3500 HD truck

The key benefit of the Chevy Silverado 3500 HD truck compared with the 2500 HD is in the 3500's capabilities. The 3500 HD can be configured with either single or dual rear wheels allowing it to achieve an incredible maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds when it's equipped with a gooseneck. That's an amazing increase of more than 50% from the previous-generation Silverado 3500 HD truck. In addition, the 2024 Silverado 3500 HD gives you a maximum payload of 7,290 pounds.
